"We booked based on a handful of pictures of the place. The pictures showed modern fittings with decent space and a nice view. The view was nice when we go there but the unit was finished poorly with rusty fittings and the rooms were much smaller than the pictures alluded to. "I needed a place near King Shaka Airport to spend a night after a long flight from Dubai and Umdloti is about the easiest and closest, so I booked online through Expedia and got a good price too. The waves that morning of the Thursday 4 June were the highest they'd been for years and the early morning view was wonderful. I arrived very late and the watchman had all my details and let me in.
