"The bed was comfortable, and the white cotton bedding was nice - what you'd expect from a hotel that touts itself as a luxury spa hotel. But that's where the luxury ends and the pretense begins. They may have an "award-winning chef," but the restaurant was closed when we went down for dinner. Overall, the place has a very 1980s vibe. The room was so dark - no desk lamp even - that I had to create a makeshift area by the sliding glass door where I could use sunlight to put on makeup. There were seven coat hangars for two women in the room, and only one robe. If you use this hotel, go for the overpriced amenities like massage and facials, not the rooms. However, we didn't use these amenities, so I can't say whether they actually existed, much like the restaurant. "

"We just love staying at the lodge at Angel fire. The hotel and room are always clean with ample space. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming and hard working (especially Phillip at the front desk). My boys absolutely love the pool and hot tub. And, not to mention the incredible location in Angel fire. This was our 4th or 5th visit and we have never found anything to complain about. "

Nothing really dangerous, but the refrigerator door handle was falling off, just small things like that. But the staff was extremely helpful, polite and seemed very happy in their positions. "No, there was no where to check in and out at. They promised me a refund for an early check out so far never got one. No front desk, phone to call them on don’t work I emailed no response. Expedia tried to reach out they never responded to them for a refund no response. Staff was nice and very friendly. We upgraded to queen beds and only got 2 full size beds. Rooms were clean. When we showed up there was a staff room with a box on the ground out side with my room key in it. "
