"I gave this location 4 stars because it looked a little sketchy when we got there. People were sitting outside in lawn chairs around 11:00 p.m. The room was decent; no issues at all. The hallways had an old smell, but overall it was great. Nothing amazing."
Hampton Inn St. Louis-Downtown (At the Gateway Arch)
8/10 Good
"The room was clean and comfortable. A little dated, but overall good! Breakfast was great, with good choices! We appreciated the extra security systems in place at the hotel through the use of room key cards for all access.
Location is within a short walk distance to the Arch, the river, and several restaurants.
Staff was helpful and attentive! We had a little issue with the A/C unit, and within about 20 minutes, maintenance had the problem diagnosed and fixed! Just a dirty filter! On a 98° day, we were pleased with the promptness!"
"Great and nice hotel. My only complaint was while I understood breakfast wasn't included. The restaurant was very expensive. It was over 80 for three with no extras."
Angad Arts Hotel St. Louis, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"This was an exciting stay. If you like ART, you will love staying here. There was art everywhere! You choose your room by color! I chose a RED room and it was definitely red! My traveling companions chose GREEN! If you are going to stay at a hotel anyway, why not make it part of the adventure!!!!"
Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I would stay at this hotel again. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was really clean. That is of utmost importance to me. We went to breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It was super delicious. Parking is a little bit of a problem. The valet is a bit pricey. It's a great location. You are close to the gateway Arch and the train station. The train station has lots of activities restaurants and overall fun."
