"Clean and peaceful"

"We had a clean room, and unobstructed view of the sea, the room had no housekeeping daily, the first and last day we had a buffet breakfast, the second day it would appear that we had to order either with the cook or reception but we were not told of this, the third day the chef took our breakfast order."

An Impressive building on the seafront, and ok but some irritating things such as a 1900's lift! with concertina double doors that were very heavy to open/close. Shame owners had let it get j to such a bad state. 1 lift only suitable for 1 1/2 persons only working lift in whole building for over a week no sign of maintenance being done."

"I enjoyed my one night stop here very much. From the smiles that met me upon arrival to the delicious cooked to order breakfast before departure. Located on a quiet street midway between the station and the seafront it is in a great spot. Room was very comfortable and had everything I needed including tea/coffee and kettle. " I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse.
