"Location and staff"

"Unbelievable hotel. The property was unique and had everything we needed..gym (small, but efficient), bar and restaurant) it was also central to our excursions as we did many hikes in the region. There were a lot of bikers staying so I assume it was great terrain for them as well. If you’re staying in the Dolomites, I would highly recommend this place. Shout out to Armand who took care of us at the bar!"

"Soggiorno al di sotto delle aspettative per un 4 stelle superior. La temperatura della camera risultava tropicale,incredibilmente senza aria condizionata. Materiali scadenti,letti scomodi e pulizia approssimata (polvere ovunque). La spa è inadeguata, idromassaggio non funzionante per tutta la durata del soggiorno,bagno turco scarsamente funzionante, sauna minuscola. "Property is quite old with rooms very stuffy and poorly ventilated. You either have a choice of keeping your (unscreened) windows very wide or having a very hot room - had to choose between boiling or listening to accordion music from the neighbors past 1am. Showers are fine, breakfast is pretty good. Not worth the price."

"Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...

"It was near the main square of Cortina. Easy and convenient access to food. We were provided an electric fan since A/C is not available at the time of our stay, a given for most if not all hotels in the Dolomites area during that time of the year."

"Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. So stelle ich mir Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts vor. Parken vor Ort nur auf öffentlichen Straßen gegen Gebühr oder vielleicht weiter entfernt auf einem Großparkplatz. Check In ab 17 Uhr. Frühstück eher italienisch also überschaubar, aber in Ordnung. Für die Durchreise und Wanderungen insgesamt in Ordnung aber kein Schnäppchen."
