"5/5 – Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service I stayed at the Locomotive Inn in Laurel, MT on August 16, 2025, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We booked a standard room with two queen beds, and it was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was exceptional, especially considering we checked in around 11 pm. "So lovely to stop here driving across country. Quiet, very comfortable, right by the Yellowstone River. I stayed in one of the king rooms. Really well-appointed, lovely art, cool shower. It's all very well-thought out. A private porch, big windows looking out to pretty views. The owner is lovely to cimmunicate with. I thought I'd be late and called. They sent me excellent checkin notes. I suppose I had neighbors, but everyone was quiet. Special place!"

"Excellent place to stay! Very nice home located in a nice quiet neighborhood that's close to many shopping and dining options (King Ave), but also there's quick access to walking pathes along the Yellowstone River. The mattress and bedding was really comfortable. The hosts were wonderful to visit with and the homemade breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place! A++"
