We had such a lovely stay here. The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. I also appreciate that they provided oat milk for tea and coffee, and little biscoff treats, too. I wish we had spent more nights here, as it made our trip that much more special. I definitely recommend and will stay here again.
The property was clean and well maintained. It is located in the city centre, close to shops, restaurants, and transit. The bed was fantastic and the shower is excellent.
Very lovely property and room. The room amenities were quite nice - lovely soaps, tea, and robes made everything comfy. The check in time of 3pm is quite firm, which is helpful to know if you're planning on coming to stay. We were able to store our luggage nearby complimentary.
Self catering, we never saw a staff person or cleaning crew. Location is great, quiet street with easy access to tram and bus line. Rooms and bathrooms are small. We stayed in Regent, unbeknownst to us it is in the basement. Light from a window, but if you keep the curtains open any passerby can see in. Only one luggage rack in a king room, no storage options. Tiny sink in the bathroom with no plug in options for hair dryer. Grocery near by, but no in room refrigeration options except tiny fridges in the first floor service closet, not big enough to store a bottle of water, maybe a can of soda.
Not sure we would stay again, it is a better price for location as Edinburgh is expensive, so there are trade offs
Good location. Rooms are cute but very small . No space for suitcases and no closet. If you are lucky your room will be in the main floor. No lobby or staff in the property just a lock box.
We enjoyed our stay so much and definitely would stay again! Absolutely the perfect location, but the only bad thing was there was no fridge in room and ice maker is really small for amount of guest rooms. We stayed in the Grosvenor room and Absolutely loved it but did have one night where kids decided to hang out in front of our window and were very loud. Would highly recommend!!!!
I only stayed here one night but I thought it was a really lovely room. Located near many of the interesting sites of Edinburgh. Very clean and comfortable room. I wish I had stayed here one or two more nights but journey took me elsewhere.
The room was pretty and clean and the owners did their best with the space available. I could tell they worked hard to be thoughtful about what one would need. However, the space is small and there was hardly anywhere to put anything. Very small bathroom with little space to even put a cosmetic bag. The towel warmer was small and high above the toilet so the only way to hang your towel there was to stand on the toilet. The plug close to a mirror in the room that could be used for a hair straightener had no where to sit it down as your styling hair so you don’t/can’t put it down. Doing it in bathroom isn’t an option because that plug is for shavers.
It was a good location with restaurants nearby. I wouldn’t recommend Ryan’s, but I would highly recommend the restaurant/bar across the street from Ryan’s called The Huxley. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, delicious food and great music playing in background.
It was very clean, great location, rooms are small but efficient use of the space. The staircase is difficult to carry suitcases on. The beds are very comfy, The staff are excellent. I would definitely recommend it.
Place was very clean, updated with high quality linen, towels, complimentary coffee/ tea and other finishes. Great location in a nice neighbourhood and easy to get to main attractions in the city. My main reservation is the very tight space the room itself (Walker) and the washroom. This was small even for European standards and I expected a bit more space for the price point.
I was on the 1st floor (one flight up). My room was large, lovely, and clean. Staff cleans and stocks rooms daily. The location was central but quiet. The stairs are plenty, so if mobility issues beware.
