Quiet and safe neighborhood. It’s nice to have two bedrooms. It could have more containers for salads or other things in the kitchen.

Everything was fine until I got to the property. The property owner gave great instructions for accessing the property. Then I arrived to find the door already open and unsecured. Inside, the entire property reeked of old stale cigarette smoke. Even though the property was advertised as "non-smoking", there was a pervasive scent of cigarette smoke that clung to everything. In the suite, the smell continued. The suite was clean, uncluttered. The TV was unplugged and I couldn't find where to plug it in. There was a lamp above the bed, and here, too, I couldn't find where to plug it in. I opened the bedroom window hoping the fresh air would alleviate some of the scent. After coming back from a walk, I arrived to find the front door of the property also unsecured and hanging open. I felt very unsafe and had to barricade my suite door that night. I contacted the property owner about the smell and lack of security on the first night. They said they'd attend to the doors. By morning, I was coughing from the smell and had to check out early. I am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and need a truly non-smoking place. The property owner refused to refund my second night, despite several attempts by Expedia. Stay away from this property and its owner. It is falsely advertised and unsecure. The owner does not care about you, your safety, or your health.
