"I arrived at 11 PM. The front desk staff was not there. The security guard was running around the hotel trying to locate the worker 15 minutes later he came down. Damn, he tried to charge my credit card again when I had told him I already paid and booked online. The property was nice close to a lot of restaurants. The only thing it was not any hot water"

"Very convenient location with many dining options just a short stroll away. Friendly reception and our bags were taken up to the room, as somebody had mentioned in a previous review, there are no elevators. Room was furnished nicely and there was a rooftop terrace area outside which was very nice. The room did not feel clean. I had spilled something on the floor and when I wiped it up, the cloth was literally black. The wood floors were very sticky and the grout in the bathroom was filthy. Around the toilet was furry with hair and dirt. Bedding and linens did feel clean, so that was appreciated. With a good deep clean, I would give this place a 5 star. We also stayed Friday and Saturday night, Friday was fine, but Saturday was extremely noisy, music was playing loudly until 4:27 and then started again on a slightly lower level at 5:03. Since this had nothing to do with the hotel, I'm not faulting them, this is more to warn about the area. "

"The building is great, the apartment was perfect, the staff superbe, and they take care of the building, guests and security. There is a supermarket across the street which makes your life so much easier. The issue, as others have mentioned, is that the building is at the limit of the safe area in the neighborhoods near the casco viejo. There is also a soccer field and some type of local dancing that are always playing something and very loud (obviously Casco View has no control over this). There is public pool one block way if you would like to do laps as the pool in the building is very small. We really enjoyed our stay despite the noise and the location. The walk to the Casco Viejo is manageable, just make sure you have a good hat and water as the humidity will run you down very fast. Lots to see, eat and shop."

"The apartment was nice, clean and very similar to the online posting and pictures. However, the area where the property is located is dangerous. All the Uber drivers kept warning us how unsafe the zone is, there are cops stationed on the corner of this property 24/7 which provides a little relief. But the area looks run down and sketchy. If you are stayijg here, please be careful and watch your back. "
