We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The views from the hotel are excellent and definitely one of its standout features. The food was consistently good, and the restaurant itself is very well maintained, making for a pleasant dining experience.
The drinks were fine, although the cocktails could be improved slightly. The pool area is on the smaller side, but still perfectly adequate for relaxing. One downside was the adults-only pool, which was the coldest I’ve ever experienced and not particularly enjoyable to use.
A small issue we noticed was that the maids were quite noisy early in the morning—there’s really no need for shouting when guests are still sleeping.
The hotel could benefit from a bit of refurbishment in places, and adding a gym would be a great improvement.
That said, despite a few minor drawbacks, we would return in the future."

"Super Lage mit Blick auf den schönsten Strand im Süden. Shuttlebus zum Strand ist einmal die Stunde kostenfrei am Start. Man sollte wissen das es am Strand weder Liegen noch schattenspendende Schirme auf Hotelkosten gibt. Aber alles ist fair bezahlbar. Auch Taxifahrten vergleichsweise günstig.
Die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt und könnten eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Sonst insgesamt die erwartet gute Riu Qualität. Personal hervorragend und sehr kinderfreundlich. "

"I stayed here again for a week visiting the island as Arguinigan is such a lovely place and Green Beach has a great seafront location between the lovely Arguineguin and smaller cozy Patalavaca "

"Large room with nice view but you can tell it’s an aging building, mattresses and pillows are on their last leg- all super deflated / soggy.
Not worth paying extra for the jacuzzi on the terrace - it’s basically a slightly larger version of a bathtub that doesn’t keep the heat. It takes you an hour to fill up and gets cold pretty quickly- not a proper hottub- disappointing.
Food was mediocre, wilted salad and mostly yellow / fried food at the hot counter. None of the pastries, cakes etc are made on site. Little variety. That said, it’s ok if you want pasta, burger or tries with chicken nuggets. Not worth 40euros per head.
Staff were very nice though and property was clean. "

"Supposedly a 4 star hotel but disappointing considering the price. They have the gall to charge €3/day to use the in-room safe - I've never seen this in any other hotel in the world; the 'housekeeping' is rudimentary - they will only make the bed, replace towels and empty bins; lots of choices in the breakfast buffet but it isn't great quality - their 'bacon' is some processed and reformed pig by-product. I'm sure there are better value options in Maspalomas."

"The apartment slept 4 (there were2 of us), but we were only given 2 bath and one hand towel. Sofa needed replacing as cover cracked and split. Lift doesn’t work in the rain. Male (manager?) on reception told me to go on line to order takeaway from any site although we found out the restaurant had a take away menu. Large space for 2."
