Khách sạn El Prado

"This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very...

"The room was so cute, tranquil and authentic. The breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed visiting with the chef, who provided us history of the Hacienda Del Sol and also directed us to the lobby to learn/see more. We enjoyed the atmosphere and history. We would definitely stay there again!"

"The hotel has some interesting character and history, breakfast was good and the room seemed clean. Unfortunately, the sheets were dingy yellow and just didn't smell clean. We arrived late so we really didn't have a choice but to stay there. We have been looking for a different place to stay in Taos from our usual since we are getting bored with the breakfast but, due to the sheets, this won't be the place."

"Staff was great/helpful."

"Hotel La Fonda de Taos is a super charming adobe style Hotel right in the center of the Town Plaza. It's beautiful and very cozy with much style. It's super convenient location makes it easy to walk to many boutiques and restaurants. We enjoyed the super friendly staff and cute, cozy rooms. We highly recommend this Hotel."

"We had a great stay, staff at bar very helpful. One note: we stayed on 1st floor room, sound proofing deficient ! Guests just walking in room above us resulted in disturbing noise level !"

"The setting and hotel were absolutely lovely! Close by but not right in the center of town, which gets pretty noisy at night. Walking distance to the Taos Plaza and numerous restaurants. Peggy, the owner, has owned and lovingly managed it for 30 years. It is the kind of place you'd love to stay for a week, relaxing in the sun in chairs on the patio and enjoying the delicious breakfasts. Would stay here again if we ever return to Taos. It's kinda hard to get there from Boston area, but so worth...

"Enjoyed our short stay in the hotel."

"This place was perfect for our one-night stay. Rooms were recently renovated, clean and tastefully designed. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great with a nighttime view of the stars and there was also a sauna. We didn't bring our dog this time but some rooms had patios designed with pets in mind which would have been very nice. We enjoyed dinner and live entertainment at the Sagebrush Inn down the street and then brought our leftovers back to our room to reheat for...

"Loved it"

"My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it."
