"I loved this place in El Quisco. Lovely rooms with balconies and a beautiful view. Great breakfast in a very quiet environment. Nice and helpful staff."

"Photos online are dated and do not reflect the poor quality of the room condition. We paid to stay in the top room, yet no working wifi, extremely tatty furniture, bathroom and ill fitting wood effect floors. No cupboards for hanging clothes and difficult to navigate to the room as in an extension, with no lift, narrow corridors and stairs. For the price, it is extremely expensive with a cheap breakfast. Better to stay in some of the wonderful new beachfront apartments on Air BnB."

"It was a million dollar view. We watched as Azamara Quest came into port and it was absolutely amazing to watch the sea lions right outside our window and the fisherman coming in and out in their colorful boats. Also, breakfast was really good as was the staff."

"The hotel was one of great comfort and calm. The staff were wonderful and informative. The room was well appointed and comfortable although we preferred to sit in and wander through the gardens which are extensive. The food was excellent and we could watch the kitchen staff prepare meals. The pools, saunas, hot tub were especially nice. The hotel was filled with flowers from the gardens and fresh bouquets were in every room."

"No towels at hotel no air conditioning No soap this was by far worst hotel in 6 weeks of travel in Chile and way overpriced. Was refused to be allowed to get money back for 2nd night after 1st night. Manager said owner has horrendous record with other people will not do anything and never fixes the situation and has been reported previously."

"The house we rented in Tunquen is a magical place indeed. The view right on the cliff edge can entertain you for weeks, so does the remoteness and the fact all you hear is birds and the waves of the sea. We stayed 4 nights and were grateful to have shopped in a bigger supermarket near Santiago, as there really isn’t much around there apart from some very small shops with some essentials, but for me that was all part of the charm. The house is nicely decorated and clean everywhere….apart from the kitchen. I don’t mind that the kitchen is very old, but the cupboards really need a good scrub as every handle and inside drawer/cupboard was sticky. The fact that the oven didn’t work was also a bit of a letdown, as the small replacement electric oven really is only good for some toast. There is no plug to keep the water in the sink for dishes, nor enough plates for the dishwasher….so saving water as requested is impossible really. That’s a shame and easily fixable. We were offered some extra wood twice, also bought some as we really didn’t leave much and the owners/marcella was generally very helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat, as the place really connects you to nature as no other. "
