"Clean room, helpful staff an excelent breakfast"

"Beautiful hotel and a great stay overall! The breakfast was fantastic and we loved the omelette bar. The dinner was also really good, everything was super tasty. The grounds were so beautiful and there is a small walking trail that also was beautiful and like walking through the forest. Location was also so close to so many food spots and things to do. We loved the pools they had available which have jets but wish they were heated. The rooms itself were nice with an amazing balcony but not the best view of the mountain as we’re kind of further away and there are trees in the way but still amazing views, lovely overall. The windows of the room were so clean it looked like you were looking straight out into the view. I wish they had a few updates with the lighting in the room which can make the room look dingy at nighttime. The tvs are small and I wish they had streaming apps but not the biggest deal. One other thing that was hard was wifi, we didn’t have good service as expected and the wifi in the rooms were extremely slow. I asked the staff about it and they said the WiFi works well everywhere but the rooms which didn’t make much sense to me. But it was still fine, I told them I was working remote and if there was somewhere I could work and they actually had a designated office room that was quiet and allowed me to work and take meetings with no problems which was really amazing. The staff were diligent and cleaned the room very well and helped with any requests we had!"

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff. Room was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Enjoyed being right outside of La Fortuna - close enough to easily get to food, attractions, etc., but far enough away for that secluded cabin vibe. Highly recommend booking!"

"The grounds are very beautiful. That was probably the best part for me. Our room left some to be desired. Whim comfortable enough it could definitely use some renovations. Our view was of the laundry are in the back of the office building.breakfast had only 2 options but it was sufficient. While walking distance to town it's a good 20 minutes so keep in mind for rainy or really hot days. Best part was definitely the pools(clean) and grounds which has beautiful plant life and birds. Staff was friendly and nice too. For the price this hotel was sufficient."

"I stayed here for three nights. The first two nights were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, my last night raised serious safety concerns for my family. I had to wake up early the next morning for a six-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, but around 1:00 AM, the unit next to ours started playing extremely loud music. A visibly intoxicated couple was yelling and screaming with no regard for others. I attempted to call the front desk multiple times, but there was no answer. After about 30 minutes, I open the door and yelled out if they can turn it down.. Unfortunately, another 30 minutes passed with no change. I tried calling the front desk again, as well as the emergency line, which shockingly went straight to voicemail. Around 3:00 AM, I approached the unit again, and the situation escalated. The individual became aggressive and attempted to provoke a confrontation. This only made things worse, as the noise continued even louder afterward until 5A. At that point, I felt completely helpless not only unable to get any rest, but also genuinely concerned for the safety of my wife and children. While the property itself has potential, the lack of responsive staff and proper security during a situation like this is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend considering other resorts, especially if safety and support during emergencies are important to you."

"Breakfast was great - lots of variety. Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit of a challenge. Scalding hot or too cool but a minor inconvenience. Close to town to enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars but far enough away for quiet evenings."
