"This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August."

"The castle looked amazing as we drove up to it, it was well maintained and kept to the true history of the castle. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and they were surrounding a lovely courtyard which was lovely to sit on, with my coffee in the morning. Stay were helpful and efficient and we ate in the bar, and the food was not only generous and looked appetising, it tasted great too. We would not hesitate to stay there again"
