"The breakfast was the only redeeming thing about our stay. Rooms were old a musty smelling, the carpets were so old and stained and wrinkled in places. The bottled water in the rooms were reused bottles that they top up. "

The phone number that was with the booking was supposed to be a helpdesk with the operator being anything but helpful. We had a look for help at the property but could not find anyone on two separate occasions; we were also astounded to discover that the accommodation was in the middle of a wedding venue and NOT the wedding we were attending. "Staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. Could do with a hook or a in the bathroom to hang towels on. Food in restaurant was amazing and the mini bar in the hotel was perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone"

"Reception not manned on arrival, did not realise that door card and check in card was left on table for self service. Basic hotel with English Breakfast /Toast/Yoghurt included in the price. Large car park. Ideal location to attend a party in Mansfield. Not planned to use the restaurant but believe it was closed during our stay. Bar also looked closed but think we were told it was available if required. I would stay again if I needed to stay overnight in the area."
