"The room was expectedly small. However, the bed in the room had a large pointy wooden bed base that made it hard to maneuver around. I hit my leg multiple times. Also, the carpeting by the bathroom was frayed, the room had a strange odor upon entry, and the bath product receptacles were flimsy and the bottles kept falling off. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

"Rather run down establishment. My pre-booked business suit was surprisingly suddenly not available and I was downgraded to a standard room with no offer to refund the difference in price. Best available was a “drinks credit” which is from a business standpoint simply unacceptable. The bar staff could not mix a Margarita to save their lives. Not impressed. Please avoid.

"I LOVED this hotel. Very convenient to transit, very walkable, only a few blocks from Wellington Harbour, Queen's Wharf, Te Papa Museum. Great restaurants nearby.
