"We enjoyed every second of our stay. The location is very quiet, only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Wilpattu National Park. The villa and the entire property were in excellent and very well-maintained condition. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If you plan to visit Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect place to stay."

"Eine Tropenoase ganz aus natürlichen Materialien gebaut. Der lokale Besitzer hat mit viel Geschmack eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft gestaltet. Das leckere landestypische Essen wird mit Gemüse, Kräutern und Früchten aus eigenem Anbau zubereitet."

There is not much in the local area so you need to keep this in mind if planning to visit a shop or restaurant during your stay, it’s not really possible "

"Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! "

"Hotel would not honour the rate / amenities booked. At check-in informed they would not provide the amenities (game drive, afternoon tea each day) that were listed in the rate I booked. The manager blamed Expedia. The manger gave in partially and offered 1 x complimentary game drive, but this was not what we booked. Additional big negative. Room was also freezing. Asked for a blanket and told none were available - manager had an extra sheet delivered. We were told to wear more clothes if...

"This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. "
