"Very out dateded, ac unit froze up started leaking all over our stuff and then it started throwing ice chunks. We went to the front desk and they offered to switch rooms. We switched rooms and everything was fine other than the bed being rock hard and the bed sheets with a ton of stains. We ended up checking out early and they would not refund us the other night stay. This property is also not kid friendly nothing for kids to do. No up keep to this property very ran down. "

"This is a wonderful hotel. The hotel has considerable style, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful, the pool is lovely, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the beds are very comfortable. The setting is great, although the local beach is rather messy (but you do not need the beach when staying here)."

"The staff were excellent, attentive, and very helpful, especially with arranging local tours. The half-day backwaters boat tour was a highlight and highly recommended, and the resort grounds were lovely and quiet. The main disappointment was the Alleppey tour, as we were not told in advance that the coir factory, museum, and palace were closed on Monday, which made the long drive less worthwhile. The driver, however, was excellent. The rooms also felt tired and in need of an upgrade, with some...
