"We had a great time at Vila Gale for only a few days. The location is amazing and the hotel has plenty to offer, including a rather nice gym for a hotel and 2 large pools that are super nice, as well as a steam room and a sauna. Everyone there was super nice, service was a little slow but it was really busy so no real complaints, breakfast was alright. If we're ever back in Ericeria, and we really hope we will be, Vila Gale will certainly be high on the list of where we'll be staying!"

"This place is a hidden treasure! Good location, just a 15 min walk into the main town where all the restaurants are, quiet and perfectly placed closer to the nice beaches of Ericeira. The place in itself has very freindly staff, was cleaned properly every day and had a fully functional kitchen to suit everyone's needs. Nice to have a fridge space and cupboard to your designated room, so you can have a beer in the garden of the guesthouse coming home from a long day at the beach.The common rooms...

overlooks the many surfers on the Atlantic Ocean. A quick and easy walk to town. Our villa was spacious and they offer free laundry. We plan to return with friends next year."

"This property is unique in that it sits away from the center of town and is like a little gated community. It is very spacious and a short walk down the hill to the center of Ericeira. My room was a good value although it was stuffy at night, I slept with my door open! Fabio who works there was excellent and very helpful and friendly. Although there are no staff on the property, you have to call if you need anything, which I found a little strange. You do need to be prepared to walk in to town...
