Franchthi cave was so much larger than I had imagined! This cave was occupied by humans from roughly 38,000 BCE through 3,000 BCE. Spanning the Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic periods, it is overwhelming to imagine the history of humanity that occurred here. If you go, be sure to also visit the Nafplion Archeological Museum to view artifacts uncovered at this site.
