"The Staff was AMAZING"

"The was a great view of the port and a little nook in the window to sit. The hotel had great character. The best part was the helpful staff that went out of their way to make the experience the best. We love Syros and the Aktaion Hotel. We will stay there on our next visit for sure."

"We were very surprised this is a Michelin key hotel. Yes, it had recently been renovated with lots of marble. Small rooms. Bad breakfast with tiny bufffet. Pool tiny and unclean. Hamman only by appointment. Check in person was arrigant and left us waiting while she did other things. Felt very disrespected."

Daily breakfast delivered to the room with fruit, eggs, savoury and sweet items. We stayed 3 nights and much enjoyed our time there."

There isn’t a lift, so you have to carry luggage up a narrow staircase. Both these elements didn’t leave a great first impression. The rooms are...

"We were travelling as a mother & daughter and enjoyed our stay. Checkin was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious with a newish ensuite and we had the use of a large terrace which was pleasant in the evenings. The hotel was conveniently situated to town and the port. "

"Excellent location, all amenities provided to make a very comfortable and pleasant experience Dimitri went above and beyond to make our stay memorable"
