The amenities are closed. Room is big but the whole building smells like cigarettes. Staff was rude when I stated that I would be changing my reservation for just 1 day instead of 2 days. Best Western Carlsbad by the Sea
The sofa was ni better than a bus stop . Made of vinyl. No arms . Just a bench. I was 1 hr early . Asked for a early check-in. Didn't bother to tell me there wS a $25 charge. Till he had my paperwork ready . I would have waited the hour . Never been charged for early check-in in my life
