"The owner, Heather, was very welcoming and hospitable. Heather was informative about the local sites and places to visit. A peaceful location outside Skipton. Well appointed accomodation, although be challenging for less mobile guests due to the stairs and bathroom, however there is a stair lift to help.
Good wifi and lovely to be given welcoming custard tarts and butterscotch toffees."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience."

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless.
Room was lovely though

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. The pub is on the...

Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car)
Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc.
Stairs are a little steep.
staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay.
We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

We had a really enjoyable stay! The hotel staff went over and above to help us and give great service. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean, huge bathrooms and seriously comfy beds.

My wife and I stayed at Throstle Nest for 2 nights this week and had a great time. The Skiptonn area provides a lot to do and see and we found this Band B to be an excellent base. The setting is great with country views from the bedroom which was really well appointed with all facilities on tap.

Having been to the bar area for years I was really looking forward to staying in one of the rooms.
The room was very nice, very spacious with large wardrobe and kettle with tea and coffee. The huge bed was so comfy, in fact the rooms couldn't be any better.
The bathroom was lovely and spacious too with a great powerful hot shower, and the towels were beautiful.
Lovely breakfast with excellent choice to cover everyone's needs.
Couple of the staff were miserable as sin and let the others...

Lovely little place. Very quite also. Wish the pub was open for drinks at any time but but not your typical pub. Food there was lovely though! Especially the sea bass.
Walk in shower was amazing! Great if you need an accessible rooms

Very conveniently located for the railway, Tesco and the town centre. Warm, friendly welcome. Nice complimentary refreshments in the room. Tastefully decorated room. There are quite a lot of stairs to reach the upper floors, and there is no lift.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Eshton, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Eshton?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Thornton Hall Farm Country Park, or get out into nature at a spot like Yorkshire Dales National Park. Gordale Scar and Malham Cove are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Eshton like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Eshton. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll have everything you need. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you to travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular option for small groups.
