"We checked in and immediately was appalled at the smell our room had. A combination of BO and whatever chemical/cleaning solution they used to try to mask it. The AC was not working properly and opening windows did not help (street view room). By 8pm on the check-in day we asked the person at the front desk to check out and for a refund. They called the manager and agreed to it, however we were told to cancel through orbitz as we booked through the third party. When we created a ticket to ask...

"Beautiful farm house converted to a boutique hotel. Had dinner and breakfast on site and both were great. The owner was interactive and helpful. This is a great find on the outskirts of Porto. "
