1..Zimmer war verdreckt 2. Bett war katastrophal 3.kein Duschmittel,Armaturen nicht in Ordnung 4. Kaffeemaschine defekt, daher auch keinen Tee. Nur nach eindringlicher Aufforderung, Wasser für Tee in der Küche zu kochen, bekam ich Teewasser. Rezeption war bei Ankunft nicht besetzt, deshalb mußten wir 2mal kommen. usw.

Ausser der guten Lage gibt es keinen Grund, dieses Hotel weiter zu empfehlen. Der Empfang bestand nur aus kassieren. Das Personal ist nicht der deutschen Sprache mächtig. Der Aufzug war kaputt und nicht mit einer Info dazu versehen. Die versprochenen Parkplätze befanden sich in einem engen Innenhof, der Wenden unmöglich machte. Die Bettwäsche war nicht sauber und im Bad war garnichts in Ordnung. Die Wasserversorgung wurde gerade repariert und funktionierte garnicht. Der Wasserhahn ließ sich nicht einstellen und die dreiteilige Duschabtrennung bestand aus lediglich zwei Teilen, die unten schon aus der Schiene hingen. Frühstück bestand aus den nötigsten Zutaten. Kaffee kam aus lange stehenden Thermoskannen, war nicht mehr heiß und der vorhandene Kaffeeautomat musste extra bezahlt werden. Tische hatten eine kahle Glasplatte und Servietten musste man anfordern und Besteck, dass auch nicht sauber war, selber hohlen. Die Glastische wurden bei Bedarf mit einem stark riechenden Glasreiniger und einem Lappen vor den Gästen gereinigt. Also insgesammt nicht empfehlenswert.

Very helpful gentleman receptionist going out of his way to help us with car parking issues in Essen. location very good not far from A2 motorway, cleanlines ok, nice sheets on the bedm clean and crisp.

Konden maar 1 nacht verblijven.Het hotel had geen toestemming gegeven aan Expedia voor verblijf omdat er voor de 2e nacht geen kamers beschikbaar waren. In een ander duurder hotel (50 euro per kamer) overnacht. Heel vervelende ervaring. Zou graag de 100 euro terug zien.

Location of the hotel is very good (only a few seconds from Rüttenscheiderstrasse) and there was free overnight parking in the public car park immediately outside. The price I paid was about a third of the nightly rate for other hotels in the area.
