"Staff was nice and room was clean, food and drinks were definitely a highlight, however the pictures are definitely older as the property is more timeworn and in need of care than pictured. Overall would recommend, but don’t set expectations too high."
"Here’s a polished review you could post:
I had an amazing stay at The Cove Hotel! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautiful the property was. The entire hotel smelled like a luxury spa, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The décor was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring St. Croix.
Doug, the owner, truly made our stay exceptional. He personally greeted us, directed us to our room, and went above and beyond with recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and things to do around the island. Anytime we needed anything, he was incredibly quick to respond and genuinely cared that we had the best experience possible.
If you’re looking for a clean, relaxing, and welcoming place to stay in St. Croix, I can’t recommend The Cove Hotel enough. The combination of the beautiful property and Doug’s outstanding hospitality made our vacation even more memorable. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"My wife and I were treated very well by all of the staff here. Josh, Michelle, Joy, and others went above and beyond while we stayed here. We were given helpful ideas of places to go and things to do. The amenities here were great. We utilized the beach, the pool, and the restaurant. The beach was very clean and the water here was crystal clear. My wife and i swam and snorkeled almost everyday. We saw all the characters from Finding Nemo (except Bruce) and we saw 4 turtles on our last morning. That was a definite highlight of the trip. The food at the café was excellent. Everyday we were on the beach, the smell from the kitchen was so inviting and would entice me to wanna eat."
"Great hotel across from the water. The hotel is modest, but clean and safe, and a very short walk to a fantastic beach. The staff (Liz) was super helpful with suggestions to make our stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend it and would love to stay again in the future."
"It’s a very old hotel that is going through renovations. So if you’re ok with roughing it, it’s not that bad. We wanted cheap last minute get away and at 500 for 4 days for 2 people it was do able. I would stay here again once the renovations are complete."
