The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. Hugh recommend! "Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. "We loved our stay at La Maison Jules! It is located close to the train station/visitor center and walking distance to the museums and the old town. The house has great character and the room/bathroom was very spacious. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversations with the host. "
