"We enjoyed the cabin. Sitting on the front porch was very relaxing. The restaurant was excellent. Opening the window made the air conditioner unnecessary in 70-80 degree weather. Great location too. Close to Mount Rushmore and centrally located to other places like Custer state park and Rapid city. Would stay again if we are up this way. "

"Such a great Lodge! So glad I found this gem. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location with a “view” of GW & TJ on Mount Rushmore. About a 2 minute drive to the monument. Large area for kids to play in the evening and a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings. We had a delicious burger in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast. The only negative I would have is that the rooms are not very soundproof. And definitely ask for an upstairs room because you can hear every step made by the people in the room upstairs."

"Staff great upon checking in. We didn’t check in until about 11:30 pm. They were very busy at this time but very polite and welcoming. We didn’t use any facilities due to late check in. Beds were clean. Parking lot was full. You had to wait until someone left to park."
