"Comfortable hotel with valet parking. Chose hotel for it's kitchen. It was limited on available utensils, the coffee pot leaked (which they did replace for us), there were no mixing bowls or cooking utensils such as spatulas and only one large cutting knife. There was no iron or ironing board - they did provide a steamer. The second one they brought did work. We slept well in comfortable beds and rooms that were perfectly dark. The doors in the bathrooms didn't stay open and the one in my bedroom to the bathroom had to be pulled up and pushed to shut. Outside of those few quirks, the hotel has a wonderful morning room on the 3rd floor opposite the swimming pool area that serves coffee and muffins. The fitness room is large and equipped with excellent equipment and free weights. It is located close to downtown, the Vanderbilt University and Broadway - and they have a complimentary shuttle that will take you to Broadway area. Staff-some helpful and friendly, others, not so much. We all have challenging days however, so remember we are all going through something."
