"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. "Nicely refurbed and quiet (given where it is located). Curtains needed attention in 306 as could not close them fully as damaged. Air con certainly needed attention as it was set to 19 and it was not 19 in that room (more like 26) and the temperature could not be adjusted downwards and on such a hot night. But stay very convenient and pleasant, would stay again and good location for bars/restaurants etc"
