The reception smelt of stale urine, the shared toilets were yellow, barely functioned and were so incredibly dirty. The room stank and needed a full renovation, the sink was stained. I’d precooked breakfast, which was not available when we turned up and consisted of a hastily cut baguette and honey or Nutella. No apology from the front desk who simply said there would normally be none of these problems but we’d arrived too late to point them out. Does the franchise name a disservice."

The shower room was very clean and the shower was nice hot and powerful. We paid extra for the breakfast. The coffee was very good and the selection of breads, pastries, yogurts, cereals, juice, boiled eggs, cheese, fresh fruit, dried fruits and butter, jams etc was great. Location was perfect for us travelling further into France. We could...
