"This was our second stay at the Sonoran Star. The staff is friendly and attentive The unit was clean and well appointed. The grounds and amenities are lovely, and the location is convenient to where we needed to be. We would definitely stay here again! Be aware that they have ongoing construction/expansion. Work is done during reasonable hours and did not affect our enjoyment of this property."

"Location is great. Walk to everything in the malecon area. Hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is very good. Wide selection of food choices. Beds are comfortable, AC works great and shower has good pressure. Now the bad, neighborhood dogs barking all night and cars racing down the street in front of the property. The rooms are very noisy and you will be awake most of the night. Bring ear plugs or you will be sorry. I would guess any of the places in the old port area are going to have similar noise issues."
