"We spent 2 nights here in mid August and had an fantastic stay. My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!"

"Our stay was short but magical. Our room was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Our beakfast was ready and waiting for us with warm croisannts, bread and fresh fruit from her own garden! "Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Les propriétaires du gite sont au petits soins même quand on arrive vers 22h. Tout est impeccable avec de bonnes choses à manger et beaucoup de petits plus. Je vais revenir dans ce gîte dès que j aurais à travailler près de Cherbourg. Je recommande vivement."
