"No Lift, we were on the 3rd floor and narrow stairs but the staff assisted with our luggage, the dinner food and drinks were excellent. Great service. However it was under new management and the menu was not up to date, sign said breakfast at 8 but they were closed. charming area to walk around. No assigned parking and you had to pay except for the hours from 7pm-7am"

"The rooms and facilties were clean and well kempt. Must mention that the swimming pool is beautiful. Had a good time in the spa facilities. The walk by the sea and the garden was the highlight of the mothers day. For a grand hotel as Hythe imperial, It was surprising that a room did not have robes and slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste and a conditioner. Been to smaller hotels with better attention to such small details. The breakfast was not the best. The staff in the reception did not seem very attending as we were there waiting for some time. There was a opened sandwich in the fridge which must hve been left by the previous guests. So, overall it was an average stay at a grand hotel."
Holiday Inn Express Folkestone - Channel Tunnel by IHG
6/10 Okay
"We stayed here for one night before heading through the Channel Tunnel to France, and for that purpose the location really can’t be faulted – it’s a solid 10/10 and incredibly convenient.
That said, there were a few issues worth noting. In our room, the shower holder was broken, meaning you had to hold the shower head the entire time, which wasn’t ideal. Parking is no longer included and is now managed by a third party at £6 per night, which feels like an unnecessary extra. The biggest surprise, though, was the dog fee – now £30, which was actually more than the cost per adult. It does feel like they may be taking advantage of the fact that many guests are travelling with pets to France.

Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"Excellent hotel and facilities. Had issue where toilet roll holder came off the wall and the shower would not stay in position due to fault meaning I had to hold the shower head up while showering. Apart from that was a great stay albeit the room was a little small"
"Really enjoyed our stay, place was clean and stuff friendly. Great location can easily get around by foot. Car park is £5 if you stay at hotel. Swimming pool and sauna available for price I believe it was £4 each. "
"Cleaner is definitely NOT doing their job! Yes the hotel is dated but theres absolutely no excuse for bad cleaning it'll ruin their business.
Cleaner was outside our window smoking all morning so we couldn't even open the window in our room.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful couldnt fault them at all."
