"Fantastic stay! We were coming into Kent for a cruise the next day and needed a place to stay the night. We were blown away at the staff and room! From start to finish they were so accommodating to all our needs. They let us store our luggage while we explored the city and when it came to check in the staff was amazing! Even brought us a fan because it was a usually hot day for Folkestone. We woke up at midnight and the received the same exceptional service when we asked for water and ice. He even asked if we wanted him to cook pancakes or toast and eggs since no where was open that late to eat!! It didn’t stop there, the next morning we came down a little late for breakfast and they were gracious enough to still cook us a full English breakfast. Finally as we were getting ready to leave, uber was taking a long time. They called a local cab for us and waited with us outside until they came. Exceptional all the way around. If you want a bed and breakfast feel, this is definitely the place, we are only sad we didn’t get to stay longer. The room was modern with the charm of a cottage feel. Honestly I could go on and on!!! Oh, they have great food trucks everywhere! Explore everywhere on the walk to the lighthouse! We ended up with a fabulous charcuterie board and local beer for our afternoon snack that was to die for!! Would definitely come back to Folkestone in a heartbeat! "

"Have stayed here a few times. The clientele here can be a bit mixed and have seen some interesting characters but the rooms are clean and comfortable and more often or not with a lovely view of the harbour. For the price I can't fault it. If you want something a bit more upmarket you have to pay for it. But for a bed for the night and the location to the port - this place is excellent."
