"Hotel is a little outdated. The grounds were well kept. Rooms were clean but the beds and pillows were worn out. Ceiling fan ran but extra slow even on high. The spickett on the tub would not work to draw water in the tub. The shower head barely put water out. The staff were friendly enough but they didnt go out of their way to greet you with a smile. Shuttle service to and from airport and cruise port were the most beneficial. Hotel is close to both which is a plus."

"When we got to our ocean view King suite ($300+ per night) the refrigerator didn't work. Maintenance then brought a new larger refrigerator to our room and dropped it on the floor in the room, we were not happy. Later as my wife and I were sitting on the couch in the living room area we noticed a large brown piece, of what we hope was food, sitting out on the middle of the room, easy to see that the maids had missed. Later when we went to bed I pulled the shades closed and 4 large roaches fell...

"Older hotel, but nicely maintained. Our room was spacious. Staff was good, great beach. The only issue we had was a thin door between our room and our neighbors. We could everything they were saying through the door. Also be aware of a $45 daily fee for the beach and pool."

"While the staff members at the hotel were very excellent and always willing to help, the quality of the hotel was lacking. The hotel was very dirty, there was always food and trash on the floor in the hallways. Outside of the pool area, an animal kept pooping right near the water and it would be left on cleaned all afternoon. The bedrooms were also not serviced. We had a reservation for more than four nights and they only came once to get us new towels. We had to request new towels at the front...

"Stayed at the Pelican in their King Ocean view room (304). The view was absolutely spectacular and our patio facing the pool was super cute!
