"Breakfast was very good and staff continually asking if she could help and if everything was ok. I was surprised that they actually used glass plates, cups, bowls and teal silverware"

"The staff was very attentive and generally nice. At check in it was a bit rush. The night staff was excellent and had to deal with a few complaints from guests, but stayed upbeat and as one would expect. The pool area, for which we came for, because the kids wanted to enjoy the slides, unfortunately closed outside a bit early (slides), but that was understandable due to it getting dark and cooler - safety reasons. However, the indoor slides closed at 9:15pm despite the pool being open until 11pm. That was a huge disappointment given the main attraction being the slides. The money we spend was not worth the service we received and after kindly inquiring, we barely got a “Sorry”. We can’t recommence this resort, but certainly hope others have a much more pleasant experience. "

" Staff was friendly. Breakfast was o.k. The sheets on the bed were very rough. I think they had been washed with the towels. Property is in need of updates "

"Be prepared for check-in to take awhile if you book through expedia. Front desk is not trained to handle that. Our room was ready early, 1 of the few good things. We went to the water park area only to discover that at least half the water areas were closed. We went to the small rooftop pool which was extremely crowded since almost everything else was closed. Several slides were open but that was it. It is ridiculous to pay for a water park stay & they be inoperational. They could have at least offered discounts for the adventure part of the resort. Our bed was hard & uncomfortable but the pillows were ok. We ordered pizza from off site because we've had bad experiences with the resort food. So disappointed with our stay."

"I love how on their sign outside. It says older than some cleaner than most and that’s a very true statement. I have stayed here dozens of times probably pushing three digits now and I will continue to stay here because you don’t get better paying for your book and not to knock the place, but we’re there to enjoy the Smokies especially Dollywood and it has everything we need. It doesn’t have a kitchen, but I don’t need a kitchen because we’re not there to cook but that place is awesome. I recommend this to anybody anytime."

"Don’t expect much. There’s no smoking signs in hallways but that was not enforced. There’s a grab and go breakfast but we didn’t risk it. Hotel staff needs training in hospitality. "
