"We stayed at the Pod-Inn Hotel for 1 night mid September. We arrived at union station via train and the hotel was super close-about a 10 minute walk which was fantastic. The hotel is also in an amazing area downtown close to many food options, drink options and the touristy stuff. The hotel had a clear sign on the outside so you knew the location. It definitely isn't a stay meant for anyone with mobility restrictions. Check in was smooth and quick, we were given a little tour and showed to our pod. The check in clerk was super friendly. We had a large pod which was a top bunk. It's a little difficult getting in and out via the ladder (especially if you get up multiple times at night to use the bathroom) but we managed. The pod was clean, and super comfortable, a little noisey moving around as others said because of whatever metal sheet board is underneath. Mainly I flt bad for the bottom person. Yes you can hear snores etc. But thats to be expected when you share space with others, we used ear buds and were fine. Please note the pod area is a quiet zone. No eating/drinks allowed. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. Towels available, nd the social area was also super nice. All in all great stay for a quick stop over. Close to everything, clean and affordable! The only thing I can say is I wish the towels/sheets and comforters were scent free. As a person with allergies and many sensitivities I did find the detergeant a bit strong. Clean yes, but I wish there was no strong smell"
