"Our arrival started off bad from the beginning. I was greeted by front desk staff I showed her my Expedia reservation clearly in my name only. Immediately she said your name is not on reservation I can’t check you in . I showed her again everything correspondence I had from Expedia showing my name as the guest. Her unfriendly response was I can’t help it if you booked the reservation with a third party and they sent us a different name on reservation. I can’t do anything for you because your name isn’t on reservation. My partners name was on the reservation instead under a completely different surname then mine. My name my credit card my paperwork. Partner had nothing to do with securing the reservation. Yet she would only talk to him and allow room to checked in with his identification and credit card . Yet at checkout an email folio was sent directly to me in my name only charging my credit card for resort fees and incidentals not his credit card. I spoke with front desk manager after checking out and she was also short with me and said my credit card was charged because my partner added me as a guest and the system defaulted then to me as the person to be billed. That seems far fetched from my perspective. First of all if I never existed how did they have my name on a credit card on file. I never gave it to them at the hotel only during the booking process with Expedia. These two incidents ruined my stay and I will never return there or refer anyone "

"I have to travel to Arizona often, and this is a reasonably priced option for long-term stays. The staff is delightful. I love the fact that they have a laundry room that's 24 hours. Breakfast is included. They have all sorts of an amenities that you would expect at more expensive hotel chains. The location of this Sonesta is ideal because you're within walking distance to virtually everything you need from groceries to bars and restaurants, to drugstores, etc.. "

"The hotel staff were wonderfully nice. I stay at Motel 6 because I travel with a service dog. While he can go anywhere, I prefer Motel 6 due to their dog friendly policy. The room was clean enough but it was a cracker box. SMALL! The price for Scottsdale Fashion Square was extremely high (probably due to location) and should have been way less. Looked like they were full of people traveling through so they won't likely lower their prices. If you aren't going for the dog- you will have prettier accommodations elsewhere for the price. Again, the staff were excellent and morning coffee was good with pleasant greetings from office staff. Dog potty areas were nicely maintained with dog bags and trash cans. "

"The room was clean but could use updating. Our bathroom door didn’t open and close properly. The a/c vent by the bathroom dripped water and made the floor wet and it smelled pretty musty. The refrigerator also didn’t work well at all and barely kept our water cold. Wish the room was a little over for the price paid. "

"Very nice and calming. Felt very private. Pool Area could use some work. Maybe larger. Wasn’t able to use overcrowded on high temp day in Mach. Too many people in pool and not enough shade or seating Over all beautiful and staff was amazing. "

"For the most part the resort is okay but be prepared to spend a lot of money on food unless you go off the resort. It’s not all that convenient. I wanted to have a relaxing weekend. The pool area is nice but you have to get there early to get a lounge chair. There just aren’t enough for the number of guests they host on the grounds. The food portion sizes are good but my room didn’t have a microwave and the hotel didn’t have any to rent. It was a little frustrating seeing that you spend quite a bit of money on it and if you can’t finish it then it’s pretty much trash because there’s really no where to reheat your leftovers. There were dead bugs in the room decor. Was looking forward to doing yoga but they only offer it one time a week and the class was already full. It’s just not the most convenient place to stay. "
