We stayed here the last night before we had to go to the airport in the morning. The reason we chose it was because it had a family room for a family of five. The room was great. Parking was at a third party parking garage about 2 minute walk away, but you could unload baggage at the front door. Breakfast cost extra, but it was good.

Overall, our stay was good, but there were a few things that could’ve been better, we arrived a few minutes early and they wouldn’t let us check in, had to wait at the lobby, then even though our room had two bathroom doors only one of them had handles and lock the other one had been removed and the door was basically locked (which is fine as you still have the other side to go in and out) but the one where there was a handle got locked and wouldn’t open, my son went in and couldn’t open it from the inside, went down to get the lady at the front desk and even she couldn’t (we tried different ways), she calls her manager and he okayed to break the door to be able to open it, so, we had to push it until the door broke at the lock and we stayed with a broken door and lock. Other than that, our stay was good.
We had to break the bathroom door in to be able to open it as the lock got damaged and wouldn’t open (my son was inside and couldn’t open it from there either).

This property was located fairly close to the airport. However upon arrival the parking was hard to access. The staff upon arrival was not very friendly in regards to parking and two of the hotels parking spots being blocked by an illegally parked truck blocking them. Breakfast was nice and a typical European breakfast. The property was older but clean and maintained fairly well.

Even though high temperatures are not uncommon in Germany anymore only a fan was offered by the hotel to fight the heat. The area was noisy and you could easily both hear airplanes and people partying.

Property was fine ~ almost a hostel ~ was on the second floor and hallway smelled of faint smoking/vaporing ??? where hotel is listed as Non Smoking. Bed was literally 6 to 8 inches off the floor. Doorways narrow. Power outlets very limited.

Good for Family Traveling to Linnate Air - Safe

This hotel was dated and due for an update, but the staff was friendly, the room clean, beds okay, but no Air Conditioning - had to sleep with the windows open with 4 of us in the room. Good shower, and they even let us get into the room 1/2 early. But this area around the hotel is super nice, cute and we ate great food at the Asian Restaurant around the corner. There is a shopping area with really good deals, it seemed very safe and everyone was friendly. It is a bit to get out to this area, but perfect if short trip with your gear to the train and a few stops later, your at the Linnate Airport - so perfect for a family to manage close to the airport.
