"I do NOT understand the good reviews of this property. We found the opposite to be factual.
We found the property to be very much in need of some serious TLC. Some examples are rusted surrounds around the shower entrance, rust stains below the sink from a water leak, peeling and discolored paint, spider webs in multiple places in the bed and bath areas, and an atmosphere similar to hoarding throughout the inn. The management desk has been placed in the entry/living parlor and there are piles of...

"We stayed in room 113. There was candy on the floor, hairs in the bathroom, a lamp that didn’t work, holes in the wall and another in the bathroom door. The floor boards were loose and moved when you walked. The duvet was torn and covered with a flat sheet. The room smelled of cigars despite the property being nonsmoking. We only stayed one night thank goodness. The water was hot, and the bed comfortable. We chose it based on location. There was no pride in ownership displayed. Weeds were...

"Overall, the property was wonderful my 15 year-old grandson loved going down to the river and walking across on the rocks in the evening we bought a eight dollar pack of four pieces of wood and the front desk had firestarter and loaned us a lighter to start it. Sat by the fire, listening to the river before bed. It was very nice and the front desk had wonderful suggestions for dinner and breakfast was very nice wide selection. The room was very clean. We did have some dirt that may have been...

"Concerned about the room. It smelled of mold. Couldn’t really sleep because of the smell and got a headache. There was a a damp rid dehumidifier container on the floor by the AC that was filled with water. I’m assuming something may be wrong with the AC but the smell is very noticeable when you walk in."
