"Very pleasant traditional style hotel in an excellent location. The decor is a bit dated but everything is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and attentive. Our “junior suite” was pretty much an ordinary room, and the layout was a bit awkward — there was a narrow space between the bed and the entryway, and a poorly placed ottoman made it even worse. We got access to the lounge with our room, which was convenient, but its decor is rather tired. Overall a good choice for the price."

"A great location for getting around the city. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout. We didn't eat at the hotel at all, although we did stop for a drink in the bar one evening; so we can't comment on the food. However the staff serving in the bar/restaurant were attentive and polite. Reception staff were very helpful at check-in, also helping when we asked for supplies of tea and coffee for the room. They arranged a taxi for us at check-out and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The room was small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our only (small) issue was storage, we stayed for 5 nights and there was limited space for clothes. A couple more drawers and coat hangers would be good. The tiny shelf next to each side of the bed is barely big enough for a 'phone, so a small set of drawers there would have been ideal. Similarly the bathroom could have used a shelf and a few more hooks. But these were minor inconveniences and wouldn't be a problem if staying just for a weekend. Overall it is a great place to stay and we'd definitely choose it again next time we visit Copenhagen."
