"The Galleon House is so quaint and authentic, that we wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else! It is definitely a hike up a hill of steps, which fits into the location perfectly. "Friendly staff. Called for taxis, recommended ding, etc. Booked 3 rooms for two nights a week apart. First night one room had no hot water. Second night all 3 rooms had hot water an all six travelers were happy. Restaurant on premises was very good. Breakfast included with room was limited but excellently prepared. Staff was quick and friendly. Excellent choice.Espesially considering the cost."

"Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price."
