"My only criticism of the hotel is the breakfast offering. Being in France one would expect fabulous fresh croissants and great coffee. Neither the case here. Stodgy not fresh croissants/pain au chocolate and not good coffee out of the machines."

"The hotel is really lovely. Everything is brand new. The garden is gorgeous. The room was perfect had everything we could possibly need including two fans and an air conditioner."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Montreuil, which is a lovely boutique hotel set in large gardens near the citadel. Terrific location and easy to walk into and around the town centre. Their restaurant was excellent, with all five in our party well satisfied with our 3-course meal, wine and service.
Highly recommended."
