"Check in was easy, (although we were charged a city tax that had to be refunded as it had already been included in our room rate). The room was tight and small, but had everything we needed. Small bed for two adults! Unable to charge bar/menu to room BUT - super breakfast with lots of choices - this was a firm favourite. Great location for sight seeing and local restaurants. Approx 40 mins from airport by taxi and 15 min walk from Mitte centre where there were really good eateries. We liked the hotel, small room excepted, as a functional, value for money hotel."

"This is a good hotel for the price! It’s a 9 min walk to the Hbf train station, but it’s definitely a train ride (or a very long walk) to any attractions from this location. There are a few restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby. And there is an unmarked elevator in the building (tucked away in the back corner of the entryway). Inside, the room is ample size, with a kitchenette and a good amount of storage. The bed was very comfortable and the shower (and water pressure) are awesome! Also, the lighting and shelf space in the WC was great. I didn’t realize when I booked that there was no AC, but the staff brought me a portable fan which - with the windows open - was enough to cool it down for this time of year (late April). Although I wouldn’t want to stay in this section of the city again, all in all this was a good hotel, and the staff was very responsive through the app. 8/10 stars!"

"We stayed in a grand twin room - the room was very spacious and the bedding and everthing was well cleaned. There was lots of room to put down a suitcase, hang up clothes etc. The beds and pillows were very comfortable after a lot of walking around the city. The location is excellent, centrally located for walking to the major tourist attractions both northwards and southwards. Yet it was also quiet and peaceful, we didn't hear a peep from anyone else in the hotel. It was reassuring that there was a safe in the room, and the soaps provided were nice. The reception staff were friendly and looked after our baggage after check out. There are snacks/drinks vending machines, and boiling hot water dispenser and free teas on alternating floors. Overall a great value place to stay for our first trip to Berlin."

"Wonderful hotel in a great location. Many attractions were well within walking distance and there is an underground station right out the door. The hotel had everything to make our stay fun and enjoyable. And the price is quite reasonable for a major European capital. We couldn’t have been happier with this choice. "
