The property is in the process of being renovated to look like the original property. Everything was very clean. It is very charming. The breakfast was good and a nice way to start your day. A three course dinner was offered and was very good. The staff and owner were very nice and friendly. We had a very good experience on our stay.

Rum samt middag top notch!

Fantastiska vyer och utsikt från hotellet. Middags utbudet tillsammans med vinlistan var väldigt bra och höll hög klass. Likväl som servicen vid middagen. Frukosten var dock i enklaste laget, bra kvalité men litet utbud framförallt vad det gällde light produkter och laktosfritt & glutenfria brödsorter.

Trevlig personal. God mat och dryck på kvällen. Rummet var dock väldigt lite och innehöll inte några bekvämligheter.

Historisches Hotel

Wahnsinnig schönes Dorf. Hotel gehört zum europäischen historischen Erbe. Sehr einfach, aber es hat alles was man sich wünschen kann. Wir waren mit dem E-Auto unterwegs, laden hat tipptopp geklappt!

Det är ett enkelt hotell men pittoreskt. Fantastisk vy från resturangen. Väldigt god och högklassig frukost. Middagen på kvällen var exklusiv och därav det höga priset. Fanns bara två rätter avv välja på. Där kunde utbudet varit bättre.

Ett fantastiskt fint hotell/gästgiveri beläget i en liten by med sluttning ner mot Siljan tillsammans med ett stort antal fäbodar och modernare bostadshus.

Mysigt fäbodhotell

Litet men funktionellt rum med fantastisk utsikt över Orsasjön. Mysig atmosfär på hotellet. Jättefin middag. Frukosten var ingen överdådig hotellfrukost, men innehöll ändå allt det man ville ha.

Femstjärnig helgpaus i vackra Fryksås

Välkomnande och behagligt ställe, fantastiskt god mat och en duktig sommelier som såg till att vi fick passande dryck. Glass med smak av gran, perfekta avslutet på en tre-rätters middag. Omtänksam och mysig personal. Sköna skogsrundor i närliggande Orsa Grönklitt.

Fina fryksås

Fryksås var bland det finaste ställerna i Sverige jag vart på. Hotellet låg jätte fint till plus för att man kunde hyra bubbelpool och bastu. Väldigt trevlig. Minus för den VÄLDIGT tuffliga frukostbuffen, inget extra och knappt pålägg

Rumsbeskrivning stämmer ej med valt rum. Personal hävdar att bilder på rummen bara är generiska trots man valt specifikt rum. Mkt märkligt. Då priset var hutlöst så utgick jag från att det var ett toppenrum. Dock så fick vi rum med minimalt fönster med ut mot ett tak vid parkeringen. Fick en liten rabatt så de var ju bra men ändå besviken. Robban

Hyggeligt hotel med lokalt køkken i særklasse

Vores værelse var ikke det bedste: uden den legendariske udsigt over Orsa og Siljan, og dobbeltsengen bestod af to separate senge. Men vi nød hvert sekund på dette smukke og hyggelige historiske hotel. Maden var overvejende baseret på lokale råvarer og virkelig god. Betjeningen var venlig og imødekommende. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

Room with a view

Nöjd med allt på det stora hela. Rum och matsal med fantastisk utsikt man inte kan se sig mätt på. Mycket god mat och trevlig personal. Badrummet i visst behov av renovering. Frukosten kunde vara lite mer genomtänkt och modern. Dock plus för hembakat bröd.

Beautiful destination, but bad service

Beautiful location and delicious food, but the service was not great. Check in experince was bad, did not get any information but had to ask about dinner, parking, access to the spa pool and all that and when asking they seemed incredibly annoyed as if we should have just known everything, as the information is not in the description when booking this was impossible. At check out they had no idea I already had pre-paid and asked for the whole cost again. Even at breakfast or walking around the hotel they didnt say hi or talk at all. With all that said, beautiful views and comfy bed made the experience possibly worth.
