"The accommodation was in a good location, but the bed was very average, with a very thin blanket that was not warm enough for the colder nights. The pillows were also pancake thin. Once checked in, we had no way of communicating with the owners to ask for a warmer blanker, other than talking to the bar staff at night. "The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. "We absolutely loved this hotel and all the staff. The hotel is within a one minute walk to the train station and very convenient to get around. Lots of restaurants as well. We had a beautiful view of the Tokyo Skytree Tower. Rooms were very clean and accommodating for the family. The staff were very helpful and amazing. Will be back again for sure. "

"Lovely for the price. The variety of pillow firmness was nice. Overall it was very clean though we needed to circulate the air a bit when we arrived. Host was pleasant and the check in/out process was easy. The lack of elevator was unfortunate but the good points far outweigh the bad. Overall great experience. "
