"Rooms are dated need some attention, staff was pleasant but breakfast lady a bit rude. If you are looking for a quite relaxing hotel this is not the place for you"

"Car park is really tight, I have a Tesla and really struggled to pull into the hotel off the Main Street. Are was fantastic for food options, hotel room was also nice But! Very close to a church with a bell that rings every hour!"

"I was a bit apprehensive before arriving at the hotel as the price seemed to good to be true, but the staff were fantastic super friendly and helpful making jokes etc, the room we were in was very dated but it didn’t take away from the weekend we had, the spa was great and breakfast was yummy. Great location if you are wanting to climb Snowden only a short drive away. The town its self is super cute some lovely places to eat and drink. The only negative I will say is we had to pay £10 per night to park but apparently that was because we booked through a third party if you book direct it’s free. Also the receptionist did say they may be able to price match so definitely worth giving them a call if your thinking of staying. We would definitely stay there again.

"Great location but parking can be a problem. A lot of dogs, to the extent that dog owners have a separate bar and restaurant.
Do book in the other restaurant in advance to be sure of getting a table when you want it. It’s the best place to eat in town and the staff are lovely. Getting a drink in the bar after dinner proved too difficult."

"Room not the best we've stayed in, no shelf in bathroom for our toiletries, towel rail fell off, wardrobe door wouldn't close. Decor throughout needs updating ( in all fairness the hotel has just been taken over) and renovations are on going. Breakfast fairly hot ( buffet style) didn't have a dinner so can't comment."
