Amazing experience from the moment we arrived! The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The views from our balcony overlooked the garden river and the mountains. They have fruit trees all over the property and fun things for the kids to do. Breakfast was outstanding array of food out on the veranda overlooking the scenic river!! could not have asked for a better place to stay for my first trip to Italy!

The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxed, the pool is great - almost full sized, with plenty of loungers for everyone and never too busy. The breakfast is delicious with lots of options, again relaxed with beautiful views of the the lake. The pool is a little bit closer to the road than some other hotels but not noticeable when you’re in the pool and the sun loungers and hotel are set further back. It’s lovely and quiet at night. There are nice restaurant and beach options within 15mins walking distance and a bus stop right next to the pool, so it’s easy to get around. A perfect location for a very relaxing stay!

Hotel Villa Florida was a delightful find in the heart of Gardone Riviera. The room was sumptuous with impressive wall paper and furnishings that reminds one of the Palace of Versailles. The staff was very kind and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we were compfortable. A highlight was of course the extemely generous breakfast that featured warm options, Italian meats and cheeses, sweets, pasteries and breads. With all of the hotels and inns to choose from in Gardone Riviera, Hotel Villa Florida should be at the top of your list.

The last of the family run hotels on the lake. Everything is a labor of love - the view is outstanding the breakfast is amazing the service is gracious Also sometimes hotel pics are not representative of the actual place - in this case it’s even better We stayed in rm 208 and had 2 pre teen kids with us and the sofa bed and trundle bed were great for them (We are bit of a picky American tourists with pretty high standards) Plenty of on premise parking - the pool is immaculate and the grounds are gorgeous Also within 8 mins walk is an awesome lake front promenade with restaurants and retail Also one of the few places we stayed in Italy where the room air conditioning works !!

Exceptional staff and service

From the minute we checked in, this stay was fantastic. Service from the staff was exceptional, they were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. I include all of the staff here, from check-in to restaurant (although being a family business, they often doubled up) to maids. Aside from the staff, the premises are stunning in terms of decor and space, and this is one of the best swimming pools I have seen in a hotel this size. I have a history of auditing and reviewing hotels for the travel industry, and I honestly believe it doesn't, and couldn't, get better than this. Thank you, Villa Florida, for making us feel very much at home.

Lovely hotel, great location but 3* not 4* room

The overall stay was lovely. The hotel is gorgeous and in a great location. Parking is free and the room was both spacious and really clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The only thing I would say that is misleading (which may be more an issue with hotels.com than the hotel) is that we booked a suite with a partial lake view within the villa florida. If you look at the description you will see it has annex building written on it but in reality this annex building is 3 star and not 4 star and even has a different name to the villa Florida. Now the room was lovely but it was not as nice as the main hotel and the furnishing and standard was lower which is at least not clear on the hotels.com app where I booked the stay. All that being said it was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. I just think it should be clear that it is a separate name of a hotel and 3 stars and not 4 for the room we booked. The annex building is closer to the road and you do get quite a bit of road noise. I slept fine but my wife struggled. The pool was gorgeous but very deep for those with little kids although there is a small toddler splash pool. The pool views are stunning however. Breakfast was fairly good but there is no restaurant at the property so you will need to eat out. I would still say it was pretty good value overall however and I’d stay again but in the main building

Lovely hotel with incredible views. We had a relaxing stay here and very much enjoyed the exceptional service and friendly staff, the amazing views and excellent breakfast. We have stayed at 10 hotels during our trip around Italy and this place has had the best service and a fabulous breakfast. The most wonderful staff- Alessandra, Sylvia, Natasha and all were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. They loaned me a charger/converter; they helped me book my train trip back to Milan.
