"Amazing stay. My mom wanted to stay in a castle on our trip to Europe and the Chateau delivered. We felt so pampered. Turn down service in the evening, beautiful peaceful grounds, an amazing restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The bar was wonderful, and my mom and I had a lovely conversation with the bar manager who had just been hired. He was great and made delicious cocktails! The only slight issue we had was with the shower- there was no real shower in our room, just a bath with a handheld shower head that pointed straight out into the bathroom. The water pressure was so high that the water just kind of sprayed everywhere in the bathroom, and soaked the shower curtains (that were so nice we couldn't figure out if they were meant to get wet or not). They offered us a complimentary bottle of their wine when we checked out to make up for the inconvenience, but as we were traveling, we did not have room to carry a bottle of wine. Other than that, it was an amazing stay and we would definitely go back! Would be wonderful to see the lavender field grown in, and the fountain fixed!"
"Wonderful stay here. We got upgraded to a larger room at no cost, which was a nice surprise! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. Lots of amenities. Walkable location. Minor issue with the toilet room door not closing all the way, and the couch being quite uncomfortable, but it was fine. Would stay here again!"
"Spend the extra money and stay here. The staff is incredible, the amenities and care for the property is next level, and the restaurants on site make it easy & accessible. You will need to have a car as it’s somewhat remote beyond the little town it’s in, but the rural feeling allows you to relax."
"The Jas is amazing everything from the staff ( Marie) the decor the outdoors the room. Is blissfully serene and very close to the village of Gordes ❤️"
"We booked Auberge La Coste to celebrate two significant birthdays. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are professional, friendly and efficient. There are numerous areas to eat throughout the day and night. There is also a magnificent Sculpture Trail, and Art Centre, featuring works by well known artists. There is also a winery tour available which three our party took and were impressed. The staff also arranged a car for two of us when we had to leave for the airport and it was a reasonable price. We spent two nights there and found enough to keep us occupied for the entire time we were there just exploring what was available on the magnificent property. We were able to have breakfast of coffee and croissant without signing up to the buffet breakfast which was a bonus as this is rarely offered at hotels. It’s usually buffet breakfast or eat elsewhere. It’s a place I would definitely go back to for a special occasion or just a couple of days of complete relaxation."
"Firstly, what an amazing location, stunning views, but the access road was challenging with a low slung sports car.
The room was a decent size with ok but only mid range amenities. Reception were very good and very helpful, but we were ignored for ages when trying to get a drink after a long journey.
Very good dinner with some unusual menu choices, green olive custard on a desert was a first for me, but surprisingly it worked!
Overall the property needs maintenance, there was peeling paint that was very obvious in the dining room and it had clearly been like that for a while.
The bathroom was clean, but there were some balls of dust on the floor of the bedroom.
A little bit of TLC and this hotel could be wonderful."
